The great people from this amazing Nature School
right in the heart of Norfolk County will be
doing a nature craft at their booth
in the KidsZone, where you can find out
about their programmes and register
for Nature School!

Learn about pet care while having fun
at their interactive Game and Craft Booth!
(Caution: You will be in paint...you WILL get dirty...you will have FUN!)

Mon Aug 7 at 2pm in Clifton Park

A local favourite, Andy
will create your favourite balloon
characters, right before your eyes.

CHRISTMAS in AUGUST!
Starting at 6:30pm at the Main Stage in
Wellington Park, there will be
food and treats to buy from our food vendors,
Santa's arrival, a Photo Booth with Santa, a
Christmas Carol Sing-a-long,
and then, at dusk, we will be screening
THE GRINCH movie!

Glitter Tattoos, Princess Kits, a chance to ask
questions and register for today's trial classes
11am-12pm - Trial Class: Ballet for Ages 3-8
Ballet is a theatrical dance that features highly formalized
steps and movements. It uses body movements, music,
and stage scenery to speak emotions, a story,
an atmosphere, or a theme.
Come learn some fun, basic ballet steps!
1-2pm - Performance: Dance and Aerial Circus
Join us daily for a 1-hour performance demonstration of
different styles of dance, acrobatics, and aerial circus!
3-4pm - Trial Class: Aerial Hoop for Ages 5-11
The aerial hoop (also known as the lyra) is a circular steel
apparatus (resembling a heavy-duty hula hoop)
suspended from the ceiling, on which circus
artists may perform aerial acrobatics.
It can be used static, spinning, or swinging.
Come learn some balance and test your strength moves!

11am-12pm - Trial Class: Acrobatics for Ages 5-10
Acrobatic Dance, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers
and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique
and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements.
Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly
blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension
with acrobatic movements in a dance context.

1-2pm - Performance: Dance and Aerial Circus
Join us daily for a 1-hour performance demonstration of
different styles of dance, acrobatics, and aerial circus!
3-4pm - Trial Class: Aerial Skills for Ages 6-12
Aerial silks is a type of performance in which one or more
artists perform aerial acrobatics while hanging from a
specialist fabric, hanging in two long pieces.

MONDAY, AUGUST 7th
12:00-12:45 Drum Circle
with Professional Drummer Costa Chatzis
Bring a hand drum use the ones we have,
or use the instrument you made in our
Craft Area and beat out the rhythms of the earth!
You will feel the power and connection
that playing music together creates!
(Be sure to check out Costa on the Main Stage
Monday at 1:30pm with Nosey Neighbour
and on Sunday Night with Hip Hop Artist MER!)
This workshop will be a great warm-up for our:
Merry Maker Parade with Parade Marshall The Great Spontini.
Meet in the KidsZone Rallying Area at 1:00.
The Great Spontini will teach you a song
and then you will march through the parks
to the Main Stage for a 1:30 arrival
and performance for the gathered crowd!

Join us daily for a 1-hour performance demonstration of
different styles of dance, acrobatics, and aerial circus!
1-2pm - Trial Class: Aerial Sling for Ages 5-12
Aerial sling and hammock dance belong to the discipline
of aerial dance. It is built upon the foundations of trapeze,
and uses an aerial silk folded in half to create a loop.
Come swing with us!
3-4pm - Trial Class: Hip Hop for Ages 5-12
Hip hop dance is a range of street dance styles primarily
performed to hip hop music or that have evolved
as part of hip hop culture. It is influenced by a wide
range of styles that were created in the 1970s and
made popular by dance crews in the United States.
Come groove with us!
Simcoe & District Humane Society Pet Contest

at 2:00pm for their 2nd Annual Pet Contest.
